The Picardy Coast stretches out over a 1,586 km² area and gains by a special geographical location:

Located to the North West of the territorial department of the Somme (80), this area shares borders with two other departments, namely the Pas-de-Calais and Haute-Normandie.   Its Channel shoreline spans more than 60 km.
